Our History

(1977 - PRESENT)

Boon Lay Garden Primary School campus during the 1970s.

The school was established in 1977 along Boon Lay Avenue with an enrollment of 1080 students in 27 classes. It was declared open officially by Mr Ngeow Pack Hua, then Member of Parliament for Boon Lay, on 18 August 1978.

We shifted to our current campus in 2004 and had the honour of having Mdm Ho Geok Choo, then Member of Parliament for West Coast GRC, to officiate the opening on 31 July 2004.

In its years of existence, the school has been under the caring leadership of seven principals. The present Principal is Mrs Christine Low and the Vice Principals are Mdm Ng Boon In and Ms Tan Hui Yah.
